Archeological Cholula's zone

How's your day my friend?

Today I want to talk about traveling and it's about Cholula.
Cholula has always been a shrine, its pre-Hispanic epoch was dedicated to lodge indigenous ceremonials dedicated to Quetzacoatl and at a later time with the arrival of spanishes cholula was filled with churches, they say there are too many you can visit a different one for every day of the year.

From my point of view, one of the most interesting parts of journey in Cholula is the related to the native's fall, it was materialized in codices and it show us the way they were massacred by Hernan Cortes who was afraid to be attacked by them.

By the way, it's only allowed to climb up a reconstructed section of the great pyramid, to do that you have to got a good physical condition.

Cholula location is in Puebla, Mexico. The archeological zone is between San pedro and San Andres Cholula municipalities.

That's all, have a good day!

  1. Damn, that would be sweet to go in. It's probably roped off for the most part, but it would be incredible to just explore an artefact like that.
